IRAQ: DOUBLE SUICIDE BOMBING KILLS DOZENS in BAGHDAD
At least 35 people were killed and around 100 were injured by the blasts of a twin suicide bombing in central Baghdad.
The Interior Ministry spokesman declared that two bombers detonated their suicide vests on Monday morning, in the crowded Tayyaran Square.
Tayyaran Square is an important commerce and transport hub of Baghdad which was targeted before by terrorists. No group claimed responsibility for the bombing up to this moment, but The “Islamic State” is suspected to be behind the attack.
This is the second attack of this kind in the Iraqi capital in the span of three days, a month after the Iraqi government declared victory over IS.
