International Conference on Climate Change – Program

We look forward to hearing the 37 researchers who will present their papers on December, 10 at the International Conference on Climate change, organized by Babeș Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania and University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

The general session, starting at 10 AM WAT, will commence with welcoming remarks from Professor Dan Lazăr, Vice-Rector, Babes-Bolyai University, Romania and Professor Stephen Okodudu, Acting Vice-Chancellor, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

The welcome address will follow, held by Prof. Calin HINTEA, Dean at FSPAC, Babeș-Bolyai, University and Prof. Prince MMOM, Dean at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Port Harcourt.

The keynote speakers will end the session with their respective themes:

Tradition, conflict and climate change – Prof. Christian CHEREJI, Director, Conflict Studies Center, Babes-Bolyai University, Romania.

Mediating conservation vs. development conflicts in the context of global climate change – Dr. Constantin-Adi Gavrilă, international mediator, director ADR Center Romania 

Afterwards the conference will be structured into 3 Panels who will run simultaneously on separate Zoom channels.

Questions will be collected on the chat, during the presentations. After 3 or 4 speakers, we will host a discussion session, where the audience and the speakers will be able to interact, facilitated by our moderators.
